Chola Aloo Tikki
(Potatoes and chick pea’s patties)
Chola Aloo Tikki is a spicy and tasty snack. It is a variation of Aloo tikki (potato pattie). Tikkis are also known as a chat. Just the smell of Tikki can make you hungry. Aloo tikki are usually made with either only potatoes or stuffed with green peas or cooked spicy moong dal.
In this recipe tikkis are made with potatoes and chick peas mashed together with spices and then shallow fried as a tikki. Chick peas/ Garbanzo beans are a true source of protein and yogurt is also rich in protein, together they make a healthy snack.

4 Medium potatoes – boiled

Directions for making the tikki’s:
1. Add potato in a pressure cooker or a in a pot, add water. Close the cooker and
boil potatoes.

the chickpeas by using paper towel making sure there is no access water in
